LARSON
DANIELSON302 Tyler Street • LaPorte, Indiana 46350
Constmcfion Company, Inc. (219) 362-2127 • FAX (219 362-2848
QUALITY CONSTRUCTION SINCE 1908
August 26, 2025
Office of the Board of Public Works
131h Floor, County City Building, Room 1316
227 West Jefferson
South Bend, IN 46601
RE: Proposal for Construction Manager as Constructor (CMc) Services:
Kennedy Park Renovation, Project Number 123-008
Evaluation Committee Members,
We are pleased to submit our qualifications for the Kennedy Park project. With over a century of experience,
Larson -Danielson has built a reputation for delivering projects that blend quality, value, and long-term
community benefit. We are committed to bringing that same dedication to Kennedy Park, ensuring a facility
that reflects South Bend's values and serves its residents for years to come.
As we have grown our presence in South Bend and St. Joseph County over the last several decades, our
passion for leading construction efforts on projects that enhance the community has also grown immensely.
We feel that this passion is a crucial element that drives camaraderie amongst a project team that ultimately
leads to a successful project that everyone involved, as well as the community at large, are proud of.
For Kennedy Park, our approach centers on the strong relationships we've built with the City of South Bend,
SBVPA, DLZ, and the contractors and suppliers serving the South Bend community. Having worked together
on several significant projects, we firmly believe that we bring unique value in our understanding of the city's
expectations and our ability to achieve positive outcomes through thoughtful collaboration.
We also believe that we are the ideal CMc partner for this project given the specialized expertise in aquatic
facility construction that Larson -Danielson brings to the table. We understand the intricacies of pool systems,
the precision required for building pool tanks, and the importance of coordinating with skilled specialty
subcontractors. This experience ensures we can deliver the aquatic components efficiently, without
compromising quality, while creating a lasting community asset.
We are grateful for the opportunity to continue our partnership with the City of South Bend and SBVPA. We
view the Kennedy Park Renovation not simply as another construction project, but as a meaningful investment
in the community —one that fosters optimism, instills pride, and sets a standard that can inspire future initiatives.
Sincerely,
Nick Larson, Vice President
LARSON-DANIELSON CONSTRUCTION CO., INC.
www.ldconstruction.com Equal Opportunity Employer
