BILL NO, <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1, 716 - 7 5 <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING MONIES FROM VARIOUS <br />ACCOUNTS TO VARIOUS ACCOUNTS WITHIN THE BUDGET <br />OF THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION WITHIN <br />THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION FUND OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br />In that certain unforeseen conditions have developed <br />since the adoption of the existing operating budget of the <br />Economic Development Commission, it is now necessary to <br />appropriate more money than was appropriated in the original <br />budget to meet these unforeseen conditions; and in that <br />additional funds are needed in certain accounts of said <br />budget, and in that surpluses do exist in other accounts within <br />the same departments which are not presently needed, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council <br />of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: <br />SECTION I.
