The contractor may choose <br />from other acceptable pipe bedding materials listed in the standard detail, which shall be <br />compacted as noted. <br />1.02 Appropriate plan sheets have been revised to include the footprint of the proposed buildings to <br />better illustrate the work to be completed by Milestone l (December 31, 2025). These sheets are <br />included in Addendum No. 3. <br />1.03 Either infiltration/exfiltration testing or air testing is acceptable for sanitary and storm sewers. <br />1.04 Vacuum testing will be required for storm sewer manholes. <br />1.05 Joint testing will be considered as an appropriate alternative to air testing for pipe over 48 inches <br />in diameter. Contractor shall submit testing specifications to the Engineering Department for <br />review and approval. <br />1.06 Restrained joints for ductile iron water main pipe shall be wedge action restraints with torque <br />limiting screws sufficient to hold working and test pressures, MEGALUG or approved equal per <br />the detail on Sheet 31 of the plans. Boltless restraining systems such as Field Lok gaskets by US <br />Pipe will not be approved as an equivalent for retrained joints. <br />Riverfront West — Addendurn No. 3 <br />
