ORDINANCE NO. (©72 / -ea <br />AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING AND ESTABLISHING AN <br />HISTORIC LANDMARK UNDER ORDINANCE NO. 5565-73, <br />AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4990 -68, AS AMENDED, <br />COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />WHEREAS, the Historic Preservation Commission of South Bend and <br />St. Joseph County has petitioned for the designation of the following <br />described real estate as an Historic Landmark under Ordinance No. <br />5565-73, as amended, to wit: <br />Lot 1 &2 Ex 2' S side Vails Add Block 1 <br />and <br />2' S side Lots 2 &3 Ex 1' S side Vails Add Block 1 <br />The improvements located upon said land can be commonly <br />described as 322 West Washington Street and 112 Franklin Place <br />hereinafter referred to as the "PROPERTY." <br />WHEREAS, the Historic Preservation Commission of South Bend <br />and St. Joseph County has recommended the designation of the <br />PROPERTY as an Historic Landmark. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br />SECTION 1. <br />That the above described PROPERTY be, and it is hereby, <br />designated and established as an Historic Landmark under Ordinance <br />No. 5565-73, as amended. <br />SECTION 2. <br />That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect <br />from and after its passage by the Common Council, approved by the <br />Mayor and legal publication. <br />1st READING <br />PUBLIC HEARING 15--/ .P-eO <br />2nd READING = /c5,>- rf'e) <br />NOT APPROVED <br />REFERRED <br />PASSED <br />Mem er of the Common Council <br />FILED IN CLE TS OFFICE <br />MAR 2 81980 <br />Irene Gammon <br />MUM NA <br />
