EJCDC...-- <br />ENGINEERS JOINT CONTRACT <br />DOCUMENTS COMMITTEE <br />AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN OWNER AND ENGINEER <br />FOR <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br />THIS IS AN AGREEMENT effective as of July 7th, 2025 ("Effective Date") between <br />Board of Public Works, City of South Bend, Indiana ("Owner") and <br />American Structure oint, Inc. ("Engineer"). <br />Owner's Project, of which Engineer's services under this Agreement are a part, is generally identified as <br />follows: <br />Potawatomi Park Roof <br />Engineer's Services under this Agreement are generally identified as follows: <br />Field investigation of roofing conditions and coordination of core sampling, core analysis, roof <br />leplacement recommendations and drawing preparation for Owner's anticipated request for contractor <br />proposals. Scope details as follows. <br />Included: <br />1. Coordination with a roofing contractor for conducting three (3) roof core samples to determine the <br />composition of the current roofing. <br />2. Preparation of four (4) plan and detail drawing sheets depicting the project location, design intent, <br />design loadings and parameters, roof replacement plan, section cuts, and details. <br />3. Drawings will be submitted to the Owner "for review." One additional revision to incorporate any <br />Owner suggestions or comments is included, after which, drawings will be issued "for construction." <br />Not Included: <br />1. Request for proposal preparation. <br />2. Contractor bid review. <br />3. Contractor oversight. <br />4. Construction administration. <br />5. Additional field visits or investigations beyond those listed as "included." <br />6.
