ENGINEERS JOINT CONTRACT DOCUMENTS COMMITTEE AGREEMENT BETWEEN OWNER AND ENGINEER FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES THIS IS AN AGREEMENT effective as of July 22 , 2025 ("Effective Date") between Board of Public Works, City of South Bend, Indiana ("Owner") and Black & Veatch Corporation ("Engineer"). Owner's Project, of which Engineer's services under this Agreement are a part, is generally identified as follows: North WTP PFAS Minimization Project ("Project"). Engineer's services under this Agreement are generally identified as follows: The Project includes preliminary design, detailed design, and bid phase engineering services for modifications at the existing North Water Treatment Plant (WTP) to incorporate PFAS treatment process steps. The modifications include constructing an upper level within the High Service Pump Station (HSPS) to house four (4) anion exchange (AIX) vessels, impeller and motor modifications to the four existing high service pumps, installation of variable frequency drives on the four existing high service pumps, relocation of chlorine and fluoride feed points in the HSPS, a new sodium bisulfite chemical feed room and system to be incorporated into the existing building, miscellaneous HVAC and plumbing improvements, and associated process, structural, electrical, and I&C improvements. It is anticipated that construction phase services will be included in a future amendment. Owner and Engineer further agree as follows: ARTICLE 1— SERVICES OF ENGINEER 1.01 Scope A.
