PETITION TO AMEND ORDINANCES NO. 4990 -68 AND NO. 6743 -80 TO: Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana Date Filed The Ford Leasing Development Company, Dearborn, Michigan, by counsel, petitions the Common Council of the City of South Bend, as follows: 1. On December 5, 1979, your Petitioner filed its Peti- tion for Rezoning from B- Residential to C- Commerical, "A" Height and Area District.a certain 338 by 150 foot parcel of land lo- cated on Washington Street, between Summit Drive and Lombardy Drive, South Bend, Indiana. 2. After all necessary and proper publications of no- tices, public hearings, and administrative procedures, the Common Council did approve the aforementioned Petition by unanimous vote on February 11, 1980. 3. That the form of Ordinance actually signed and pub- lished in connection with the above did contain certain typographi- cal errors, rendering said Ordinance inoperative and incorrect. 4. That no further or additional hearings or publica- tions of notices are required by law to amend the incorrect Ordinance. 5. That the formal rules of the Common Council should be suspended so as to allow First and Second Readings and final action by the Common Council at its next regularly scheduled meet- ing, in order that the amended, correct Ordinance may become of full legal effect as soon as possible.
