ORDINANCE NO. � 7 411 -Xd AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $14,000.00 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT, COMTONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR THE 1980 ETHNIC FESTIVAL, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: The Common Council of the City of South Bend recognizes the importance of ethnic groups in the history of the community and wishes to encourage the promotion of the community's ethnic heritage. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THIS CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The sum of $14,000.00 is hereby appropriated for the year 1979 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund, commonly referred to as General Revenue Sharing, for the 1980 Ethnic Festival.
