TommUtu Irvart <br />coo toe Tamuwn Mounrit of t4r Tity of oout4 jornd: <br />Your Committee OF THE WHOLE <br />to whom was referred <br />A BILL AMENDING CHAPTER 17, SEWERS AND WATER, OF <br />THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, <br />BY THE ADDITION OF A NEW ARTICLE 7 ENTITLED SEWER SERVICE <br />FUND AND CHARGES. <br />Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion This bill should be recommended <br />to the Council favorable, as amended: <br />In Section 17 -56: (b) change to read: "the sum of seventy -five <br />cents (750) per month shall be added to sewer service charges <br />for all sewer users which are not industrial, or not bulk water <br />users.--- - <br />Section 17 -57 (a) remove "a private sewer connection." <br />Section 17 -58 add sections e & f from Section 17 -60 of McMahon's <br />bill. <br />Section 17 -60 change "for the past two billing periods" to <br />for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days. <br />Section 17 -61 add (a) from 17 -62 of McMahon's bill make paragraph <br />in 17 -61 of WK's bill (b) ' <br />Section 17 -62 add to title "Monthly Repair List be Filed with <br />Common Council." <br />Add new paragraph (c) to read: In addition to the bi- annual <br />report, the Board of Waste Water Commissioners shall file a monthly <br />report with the Council's Utility Committee detailing the following: <br />1) Name of property owner and location of sewer repair (designated <br />by the common address of the property). 2) Name of contractor who <br />performed the sewer repair. 3) the amount of sewer repair with an <br />attached detailed claim." <br />Walter M.
