ORDINANCE NO. 1,0Z 11) =Z,') AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $5,000.00 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT, COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR DEFRAYING THE EXPENSE OF PROVIDING A FIRE WORKS DISPLAY IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ETHNIC FESTIVAL. THIS APPROPRIATION WILL BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRA- TION AND FINANCE. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: . WHEREAS, the Administration has decided that there exists considerable interest in the community in support of providing a fire work display in conjunction with the Ethnic Festival and the Fourth of July. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON.COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The sum of $5,000.00 is hereby appropriated for the year 1980 from the Federal Assistance Grant commonly referred to as Revenue Sharing.
