Szymkowiak, Chairman, Utilities Committee <br />RE: Additional Appropriation for Motor Equipment <br />Gentlemen: <br />Attached you will find an ordinance requesting $25,000.00 to be used <br />by-the Bureau of Sewers in conjunction with the purchase of motor <br />equipment. <br />The Bureau of Sewers had programmed the replacement of one of the two <br />vactor sewer cleaners in 1980. In the original budget it was antici- <br />pated that the replacement cost would be in the neighborhood of <br />$65,000 to $70,000. Bids were received recently and the cost of re- <br />placing this unit was $83,668.58. This additional appropriation is <br />requested to supplement our present budget in order to accommodate <br />this purchase.
