These funds are needed to supplement the 1980 <br />Budget for the paving and slurry program. The price of street materials <br />has increased approximately 23% from last year and additional funds are <br />needed to accommodate this increase. Due to the lack of Motor Vehicle <br />Highway Funds, I have chosen to again request moneys available from <br />the General Revenue Sharing Fund. <br />Your consideration of this appropriation is requested.
