ORDINANCE NO . (� ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING THE SUM OF $500.00 FROM VARIOUS ACCOUNTS TO VARIOUS ACCOUNTS WITHIN THE COMMON COUNCIL'S BUDGET OF THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to transfer money from one account to another in the annual budget. The Council has ascertained that a certain account in the Common Council's Budget has excess funds and seeks a transfer in order to allow the Council to continue to fulfill its functions. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: SECTION I: That the following account be reduced in the amount set opposite said account, to -wit: ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION AMOUNT 725.0 Office Equipment $500.00 SECTION II: That the following account be increased in the amount set opposite said account, to -wit: 363.0 Other Office Supplies $500.00 That the transfer of funds as set forth in Section I and Section II are necessary for the proper and efficient operation and functioning of the Common Council's Office. An extraordinary emergency is declared to exist concerning the foregoing transfer, and it is in the best interest to do so.
