(ml)The permit holder shall fill to grade level and grade the lot with three(3)inches of top
<br /> seiltopsoil.Seeding must be done at the time the lot is graded:provided,however,that
<br /> seeding shall not be required if a new building is scheduled to be constructed on the
<br /> demolition site within six(6)months after completion of the demolition.

<br /> Sec.6-6.5.Wood burning stove permit.
<br /> (a) No person,firm,or corporation shall install or cause to be installed a wood burning stove in
<br /> any building or structure in the City without obtaining in advance a wood burning stove
<br /> permit from the Department.
<br /> (b) The applicant shall file with the Department a completed application on the form provided,
<br /> with all information indicated on the application submitted in full and with all other
<br /> information required by the Department for the enforcement of the Building Code.
<br /> (c) All installations of wood-burning stoves shall be inspected by the Department two(2)times,
<br /> one(1)each for preliminary venting work and for final,completed installation.The permit
<br /> holder shall notify the Department at least twenty-four(24)hours in advance of the time the
<br /> work is ready for inspection.If the work does not pass inspection,a reinspection fee of loft'
<br /> sixty dollars($640.00)shall be charged for each future inspection of that stage of work.

<br /> Sec.6-6.6.Sign contractor registration.
<br /> (a) No person,firm,or corporation shall erect or cause to be erected a sign in the City without
<br /> obtaining,in advance,a sign permit from the Department.
<br /> (b) The applicant shall file with the Department a completed application on the form provided,
<br /> with all information indicated on the application submitted in full and with all other
<br /> required information.
<br /> (c) All persons,firm or corporation erecting signs in the City for remuneration shall be
<br /> registered with the Department.Registration shall be on forms provided by the Department
<br /> and be accompanied by a five ten thousand dollar($1(15,000.00)bond made payable to the
<br /> City of South Bend,indemnifying the City against all loss or damage to public ways,public
<br /> places and other public property during the course of the work under the sign permit and
<br /> further conditioning that the applicant will indemnify the City and pay any and all personal
<br /> and property damages caused by any negligent act or omission in the erection of such sign,
<br /> proof of liability insurance in the amounts of e t\vu hundred thousand dollars
<br /> ($2+00,000.00)per person,three six hundred thousand dollars($6400,000.00)per
<br /> occurrence,and#i-h-one hundred thousand dollars($50100,000.00)per property damage to
<br /> save and keep the City harmless from any claims,damages,liabilities,losses,actions,suits
<br /> or judgments which may be brought,presented,sustained or obtained against the City or its
<br /> officials because of negligence of the sign hanger,contractor or his agents,or by reason of
<br /> defects in the construction,or damages resulting from the collapse or failure of any sign,
<br /> and payment of a registration fee of one hundred twenty-five dollars($125.00).Said
