REGULAR MEETING MAY 27, 2025 120 <br /> <br /> <br />AWARD BID AND APPROVE CONTRACT – WATER TREATMENT CHEMICALS – <br />WASTEWATER 2025-2026 – (641-06-605-514-422012) <br />Jacob Klosinski, Engineering, advised the Board that on May 13, 2025, bids were received and <br />opened for the above referenced project. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Klosinski recommended <br />that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, JCI Jones <br />Chemicals Inc., in the amount of $1,480 per Ton Chlorine Cylinders, Total of $222,000 for a one <br />(1) Year contract. Therefore, VP Molnar made a motion that the recommendation be accepted, and <br />the bid be awarded, and the contract approved as outlined above. Therefore, VP Molnar made a motion that the recommendation be <br />accepted, and the bid be awarded, and the contract approved as outlined above. Mr. Miller <br />seconded the motion, which carried by roll call. <br /> <br />AWARD BID AND APPROVE CONTRACT – WASTEWATER TREATMENT CHEMICALS <br />– WASTEWATER 2025-2026 – 641-06-605-514-422012 <br />Jacob Klosinski, Engineering, advised the Board that on May 13, 2025, bids were received and <br />opened for the above referenced project. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Klosinski recommended <br />that the Board award the contract to the second lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Polydyne <br />Inc., in the amount of $2.09 per lb. dry polymer flocculent, Total $83,600 for a One (1) Year <br />Contract. Therefore, VP Molnar made a motion that the recommendation be accepted, and the bid <br />be awarded, and the contract approved as outlined above. Mr. Miller seconded the motion, which <br />carried by roll call. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO REJECT BIDS/QUOTATIONS – URBAN HALF MOON <br />TREE NURSERY – PROJECT NO. 125-017 (PR-00040816) <br />In a memorandum to the Board, Gemma Staton, requested permission to reject all bids for the <br />above referenced project due to quote exceeded budget. Therefore, upon a motion made by VP <br />Molnar, seconded by Mr. Miller and carried by roll call, the above request was approved. <br /> <br />APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 – SEWER AND MANHOLE REHABILITATION 2024 – <br />PROJECT NO. 122-019 (PO-0013623) <br />President Maradik advised that Sarah Baker, Engineering, has submitted change order number 1 <br />on behalf of Visu-Sewer, LLC, indicating the contract amount be increased by $40,832.75 for a <br />new contract sum, including this change order, in the amount of $1,570,423.25. Upon a motion <br />made by VP Molnar, seconded by Mr. Miller and carried by roll call, the change order was <br />approved. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS AND TITLE <br />SHEET – 2025 CONTRACTOR PAVING ROUND 2 – PROJECT NO. 125-034 (PR-00040887) <br />In a memorandum to the Board, Dan Jones, Engineering, requested permission to advertise for the <br />receipt of bids for the above referenced project. Also presented at this time for approval and <br />execution was the title sheet. Upon a motion made by VP Molnar, seconded by Mr. Miller and <br />carried by roll call, the above request to advertise was approved, and the title sheet was approved <br />and signed. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS AND TITLE <br />SHEET – RIVERFRONT WEST URBAN NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT – PROJECT <br />NO. 121-067 (PR-00040996) <br />In a memorandum to the Board, Charlotte Brach, Engineering, requested permission to advertise <br />for the receipt of bids for the above referenced project. Also presented at this time for approval <br />and execution was the title sheet. Upon a motion made by VP Molnar, seconded by Mr. Miller and <br />carried by roll call, the above request to advertise was approved, and the title sheet was approved <br />and signed. <br /> <br />
