Sec.6-13.Temporary sheds or trailers;removal. <br /> (a) Temporary sheds or trailers for office purposes or for storage of tools and materials may be <br /> erected or parked upon the public property within the limits prescribed for materials. <br /> (b) If at any time building operations shall be discontinued for a period of more than thirty(30) <br /> days,all such temporary buildings and obstructions shall be removed,leaving a clear <br /> unobstructed roadway. <br /> (c) The period of thirty(30)days may be extended at the discretion of the City Engineer to <br /> allow for acts of God,strikes and other acts beyond the contractor's control. <br /> (Ord.No. 8243-92,§ 1) <br /> Sec.6-14.Temporary permission to occupy streets and sidewalks for purpose of building. <br /> (a) The permission to temporarily occupy streets and sidewalks for the purpose of building is <br /> intended for use only in connection with the actual erection,repairing,alteration or removal <br /> of buildings and is terminated after completion of such operations. <br /> (b) No person shall occupy any street or sidewalk after the completion of the operation for <br /> which other permit has been issued. <br /> (Ord.No.8243-92,§ 1) <br /> Sec.6-15.Temporary wooden fences;construction;removal. <br /> Temporary wooden fences to shield lots during building operations may be erected <br /> upon public property if the permit for the same has been obtained.The fences shall not be <br /> less than four(4)feet nor more than eight(8)feet in height,and shall be removed within ten <br /> (10)days after the external walls of the building are erected and the roof enclosure covered <br /> in. <br /> (Ord.No.8243-92,§ I) <br /> Sec.6-16.Advertising on temporary structures,walks and fences prohibited;exception. <br /> No person shall use the walls or any portion of the temporary sheds or sidewalk <br /> coverings or any fences built around building operations for billboards or for any manner of <br /> advertising,except such as may pertain to the building itself. <br /> (Ord.No.8243-92,§ 1) <br /> Sec.6-17.Suspension or revocation of registrations or permits;refusal to issue registrations or <br /> permits. <br /> The suspension or revocation of any registration or permit,or the refusal to issue any <br /> registration or permit under this Code shall be for just cause after notice and hearing thereof <br /> pursuant to the provisions of section 1-18. <br /> (Ord.No.8243-92,§ 1) <br /> Page 35 of 51 <br />
