r ORDINANCE N0. AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $715,000.00 FROM THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND, AND $550,000.00 FROM THE CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING FUND TO PROJECT R & S 53, SAMPLE, CHAPIN TO OLIVE, WITHIN THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: In order to meet existing and proposed traffic demands, to provide the safe and efficient movement of vehicles, and to provide positive control of storm drainage, certain improvements have been proposed for Sample, from Chapin to Olive. Funds are now needed to pay the cost of engineering and construction of these improvements. These funds are available from the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund, and Local Road and Street Fund. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: SECTION I: The following sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund, and the Local Road and Street Fund for the project in the amounts set forth below: PROJECT MO.
