~. • September 2, 1:30 p.m. Presiding: SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY RESCHEDULED REGULAR MEETING 1998 Ms. Carolyn Pfotenhauer 1308 County-City Building 227 West Jefferson Boulevard South Bend, IN 46601 The September 2, 1998 Rescheduled Regular Meeting of the Redevelopment Authority was called to order at 1:35 p.m. by its President, Carolyn Pfotenhauer. There was a quorum present. 1. ROLL CALL Members Present: Ms. Carolyn Pfotenhauer, President Mr. Matthew Kahn, Vice-President Mr. Jose Alvarez, Secretary • Redevelopment Staff: Mrs. Ann Kolata Mrs. Jenny Hullinger, Recording Secretary 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Upon a motion by Matthew Kahn, seconded by Carolyn Pfotenhauer, and unanimously carried, the Authority approved the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of August 3, 1998. 3. New Business a. Approval of Plat for Blackthorn Corporate Park, Minor # 8. • This Plat replaces the Plat that was submitted on August 3, 1998. Mrs. Kolata stated that Shamrock's lot location changed slightly from the Plat that the Authority signed at the August 3, 1998 meeting. The boundaries changed to improve the other lot that has not been sold yet. Mr. Alvarez asked if Shamrock is going to use the building. that is being built on the lot. Mrs. Kolata stated that Shamrock is building a 10,000 sq. ft. building, and they will occupy half of it. A portion of it will be occupied by Mike Boehm, a financial consultant, and 2,500, sq. feet will be available for rent. Upon a motion by Mr. Alvarez, seconded by Mr. Kahn and unanimously carried, the Authority approved the Plat for Blackthorn Corporate Park, Minor # 8. b. Approval of Purchase of U.S. Treasury Securities related to the City of South Bend Redevelopment Authority Taxable Lease Rental Revenue Bonds of 1993. H:\WPDATA\AUTHORTY\090398.MIN
