St. Joseph County, Indian <br />for more than 76 years. That he was well acquainted with Louisa <br />McCartney, widow of James McCartney, who died about 1862, and <br />mother of Benjamin F. McCartney, Ed McCartney and Charles F. <br />McCartney. <br />That he was not personally acquainted with Benjamin F. <br />McCartney but knew the family very well. That it was a matter <br />Of common knowledge in the neighborhood that Benjamin F. <br />McCartney died without issue and was unmarried at the time of <br />his death and further affiant saith not. <br />FRANCIS M.
