<br />Affiant swears that she has lived in South Bend, St. Joseph
<br />Cov.nty, Indiana, for 25 years last past, and that she is the widow of
<br />David Bowman, deceased, who was a son of Jacob Bowman, deceased, who
<br />fOrmerl3r owned the East 217 of the South Nest I of Section No. 13, ToWn—
<br />ship No. 37 North, Range No. 2 East, in said County, and State, and thdt
<br />she has been informed and knows that Jacob Bolrnnan died intestate, and
<br />that he left as his only heirs his widow, Christiana Bowman, and the
<br />following 8 sons and daughters, to -wit: Susanna, Catherine, Annie,
<br />Nester, John, Daniel, bury, and David, and 3 grandchildren who were
<br />children of his deceased daughter, Elizabeth Rohroro That said 3 grand--
<br />chlldre ns s names vfere John, Lydia and Sarah Rohre-'r- That saint Lydia
<br />married Daniel M. Shively and died intestate, leaving said Daniel A2, and
<br />hex Shively, her only heirs. That said Susannah lrras
<br />ma--rled to Joan RupeZ. That s&id Catherine married AbrA.ham Whitmore.
<br />That said Mary Married Joseph Haney. That said Heater, who was sometimes
<br />called Esther, married Henry B. Miller, and that said ,Esther who
<br />appears as wife of Henry R. Miller in a conveyance to said David Bowman,
<br />recorded in Deed Record M , page 588, and who appears under the name of
<br />Hester in a proceeding to quiet title,as appears in Complete Record of
<br />the St. Joseph Circuit Court, NO. 11, commencing on page 394, are one
<br />and the same person. That said Annie; married Samuel Rodebaugh and
<br />that said Annie who appears in said Court proceedings and who appeaTs
<br />.in said deed above referred to as wife of Sarauel "Rodelaugh" under the
<br />name of Ann, are one and the same Person. That said Sarah RohTor when
<br />she executed a deed to David Bovnnan under date Max ch 14th9 18661, which
<br />deed is recorded in Deed Record 55, page 140, was a single woman and
<br />that slit was the daughter of said Elizabeth Bowman above referTa tolp
