g And Whereas there is an error in the description of said land in each and all of said deeds and conveyances in the niunber of rods mention- ed in the length of one of the lines o- said land which should read Eighty instead of Twenty as it now reads in said deeds & conveyances; in order therefore to correct said error and in consideration of the puar-- cshase money paid by the said henricks and Somparet to rae, and to perfect the title of said lands in said Jesse L. Walterhouse , I , the said Davlcl Smith and Permelia Jane Smith quit claim to Jesse L. vvalterhouse of St. Joseph County and State of Indiana, his heirs and assigns, the following described Real Estate,. all that portion of the Vest 2 of the North East 4 of Section Number 3 in 'Township number 37 North of Range Number 2 East which lies South of the iiichigan Road, and that part hereby sold and con- veyed is about 5 rods wide on the East, 80 rods long on the South and 36 rods wl&e on the Viest, and borders on the Michigan road on the north, and contains about 10 acres and one quarter.
