Mc Gann, President South Bend Common Council 227 West Jefferson Boulevard South Bend, Indiana Dear Mr. Mc Gann: The Department of Public Parks is requesting the Common Council to approve the enclosed ordinance appropriating $79,000.00 from the Zoo Endowment Fund to account 260.0, Other Contractual Services. The seventy -nine thousand dollars is the last payment from the Muessel- Ellison and Stanley and Flora Clark Trust Funds for the construction of the Educational Services and Wildlife Building at Potawatomi Zoo. The trust funds have committed $380,000.00 for the zoo project. The Park Department appreciates the Common Council's interest and help on the zoo project as shown by its willingness to appropriate revenue sharing funds to complete the wildlife building. The educational services building has been well accepted by thousands of persons who have already visited the Potawatomi Zoo.
