Mc Gann, President <br />South Bend Common Council <br />227 West Jefferson Boulevard <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Dear Mr. Mc Gann: <br />The Department of Public Parks is requesting the Common Council to <br />approve the enclosed ordinance appropriating $79,000.00 from the <br />Zoo Endowment Fund to account 260.0, Other Contractual Services. <br />The seventy -nine thousand dollars is the last payment from the Muessel- <br />Ellison and Stanley and Flora Clark Trust Funds for the construction of <br />the Educational Services and Wildlife Building at Potawatomi Zoo. The <br />trust funds have committed $380,000.00 for the zoo project. <br />The Park Department appreciates the Common Council's interest and help <br />on the zoo project as shown by its willingness to appropriate revenue <br />sharing funds to complete the wildlife building. <br />The educational services building has been well accepted by thousands <br />of persons who have already visited the Potawatomi Zoo.
