~. <br />The South Bend Redevelopment Authority <br />Regular Meeting, Apri120, 1998 <br />f. Certification of the South Bend Redevelopment Authority concerning <br />Insurance and Tax Liability -South Bend Central Development Area Public <br />Improvement Project. <br />g. Certification of the South Bend Redevelopment Authority concerning <br />Insurance and Tax Liability -1992 Parking Facilities Project (St. <br />Joseph/Wayne Street Parking Garage). <br />Mr. Riggs stated that items 3a through 3g are related to Redevelopment Authority <br />outstanding bond issues. The Certifications state that all property taxes have-been <br />paid and that properties are insured as required by the Trust Agreements for the <br />properties. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Pfotenhauer, and seconded by Mr. Ladewski the. Authority <br />approved each Certification of Insurance and Tax Liability for the above projects <br />(items 3a through 3g). <br />h. Authority approval requested for Deed of Dedication (a part of Lot 7 of <br />Blackthorn Corporate Office Park). <br />i. Authority approval requested for Deed of Dedication (a part of the West Half <br />of the Southeast Quarter of Section 19, Township 38 North, Range 2 East). <br />Mr. Riggs stated that items 3h and 3i concern properties owned by the <br />Redevelopment Authority. These Deeds of Dedication will donate the specified <br />property to the State of Indiana for the right-of--way for the U.S. 31 By-pass/ <br />Nimtz Parkway interchange, constructed in 1997. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Pfotenhauer, seconded by Mr. Ladewski, the Authority <br />approved both Deeds of Dedication. <br />j. Authority approval requested for use of property in the Airport Economic <br />Development Area. <br />The Junior Irish Soccer Association is requesting temporary use of property <br />owned by the Authority for parking for the 1998 soccer season to comply with the <br />request that people not park on Mayflower Road. Mr. Riggs stated that this <br />property was previously used for a concrete plant when the roads in the area were <br />being built. The area is flat, with crushed stone on it.
