ORDINANCE N0. t� C( -13 - Z 1 <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A SERVICE <br />FEE OF THREE DOLLARS ($3.00) <br />FOR POLICE DEPARTMENT ACCIDENT REPORTS <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />The 1981 General Assembly of the State of Indiana amended <br />I.C. 9 -3 -1 -3 to enable a police department to charge a fee for each <br />copy of an accident report, provided that the fiscal body pass an <br />ordinance setting that amount. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I. That the South Bend Police Department charge a <br />fee of Three Dollars ($3.00) for each copy of traffic accident <br />reports. <br />SECTION II. Such reports shall be supplied only to persons <br />qualified to receive such reports under I.C. 9- 3 -1 -3. <br />SECTION III.
