Training/Recruiting <br /> • 19,686 total training hours plus 20 Regional Academy classes hosted <br /> (471 total sworn L/E attended our facility), including; 'Stop the <br /> Bleed'/CPR/First Aid/Narcan, CIT, Wellness/Peer Support, <br /> State Mandates (human trafficking, autism, Domestic Violence, <br /> Alzheimer's, Mental Awareness, Below 100, APS and <br /> DCS) . Simulator includes de-escalation scenarios. All new hires = <br /> Implicit Bias training. Every officer = Psychological Response and <br /> Compliance, De-escalation, Mental Illness and L/E Crisis Response. <br /> • NOTABLE: Hired 21 in 2021, 51 in 2022, 28 in 2023, and hired 13 <br /> more in 2024 = 113 officers in 4 years. <br /> • Start to hire = 4-6 weeks... prior it was 4-6 months, often longer. <br />
