This is a legal description of the residue of Lot No. 6 which was purchased in its entirety for the Right -of -Way of the Chapin Street Inner Belt area. On behalf of the City of South Bend, Indiana, I find no fur- ther use of this land; therefore I recommend that it be sold. Part of Lot No. 6 of Mary Whitherill's Subdivision of Bank Out Lot 32 in South Bend, Indiana, described as follows: Beginning at the South Fast corner of said Lot No. 6; thence due West along the South property line of said Lot No. 6 a distance of 29.71 feet, to the Easterly Right -of -Way line of the Chapin Street Inner Belt; thence North Easterly along the said Easterly Right -of -Way line a distance of 177.32 feet to a point 22 feet more or less South of and 6 feet more or less West of the North East corner of said Lot No. 6; thence further North Easterly along the said Easterly Right -of -Way line a distance of 23.18 feet to the North East corner of said Lot No. 6; thence due South along the East property line of said Lot No. 6 a distance of 198 feet to the point of beginning; containing 3,434 square feet more Cr less all in Portage Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana.
