PARENT, Mayor <br />COUNTY -CITY BUILDING SOUTH BEND, INDIANA 46601 <br />September 30, 1980 <br />Members of the Common Council <br />441 County /City Building <br />South Bend, IN 46601 <br />Dear Councilmen. <br />(219) 284 -9251 <br />The attached ordinance is a request for an appropriation of $16,000.00 <br />from the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund to Project R & S 70, <br />Miami, Kern to Jackson. <br />In order to provide efficient storm water drainage on Miami from Kern <br />Road to Jackson Road, we have proposed to have a storm water drainage <br />system designed for this area. The project will begin at North Falls <br />Church Court in the Fairfax Subdivision and proceed north to the exist- <br />ing retention basin southeast of the intersection of Ireland Road and <br />Miami Street. Additional funds are needed for the engineering cost <br />associated with this improvement. <br />Your favorable consideration is requested.
