Bill No. <br />Ordinance No. (0 9.S1 _ 9-6) <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $7,000.00 FROM THE <br />LEEPER PARK TREE REPLACEMENT FUND #63.8210 FOR <br />THE PURCHASE OF TREES AND SUPPLIES WHICH TREES <br />WILL BE PLANTED AT LEEPER PARK. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Public Parks would like to replace <br />the trees destroyed at Leeper Park by the July storms and <br />WHEREAS, a committee was appointed to solicit funds that could <br />be used to purchase trees to replace the trees that were destroyed by the <br />July storms. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana as follows: <br />Section I. The sum of $7,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the <br />Leeper Park Tree Replacement Fund for the purchase of trees which trees <br />will be planted at Leeper Park. This appropriation is to be administered <br />by the Department of Public Parks as set forth below: <br />Account Description Amount <br />441.0 Seeds, Trees & Flowers $7,000.00 <br />Total $7,000.00 <br />Section II.
