ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $14,000.00 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT, COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING FOR VARIOUS PUBLIC SAFETY PROGRAMS TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: Additional funds are needed by the Bureau of Environmental Control to administer certain Public Safety Programs and to en- sure the Department's ability to properly perform its functions during the year 1980. NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The sum of $14,000.00 is hereby appropriated for the year 1980 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund, commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. This appropriation is to be administered by the Department of Administration and Finance and will be distributed as set forth below: PROGRAM FA 208 HUMANE SOCIETY 1980 ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION AMOUNT 260 Other Contractual Services $14,000.00 TOTAL FA 208 $14,000.00 SECTION II.
