STATUS CODE DESCRIPTION <br /> PASS 315.3.1 -Ceiling clearance Storage shall be maintained 2 feet(610 mm)or more below the ceiling in <br /> nonsprinklered areas of buildings or a minimum of 18 inches(457 mm)below <br /> sprinkler head deflectors in sprinklered areas of buildings.Exception:Sidewall <br /> storage to a maximum depth of thirty(30)inches(seventy-six and two-tenths <br /> (76.2)centimeters)shall be acceptable to the ceiling in non-sprinklered buildings. <br /> PASS 315.3.2-Means of egress Combustible materials shall not be stored in exits or enclosures for stairways <br /> and ramps. <br /> PASS 315.3.3-Equipment rooms Combustible material shall not be stored in boiler rooms,mechanical rooms or <br /> electrical equipment rooms. <br /> PASS 315.4-Outside storage Outside storage of combustible materials shall not be located within 10 feet(3048 <br /> mm)of a lot line.Exceptions:1.The separation distance is allowed to be reduced <br /> to 3 feet(914 mm)for storage not exceeding 6 feet(1829 mm)in height.2.The <br /> separation distance is allowed to be reduced when the fire code official <br /> determines that no hazard to the adjoining property exists. <br /> PASS 505.1 -Address identification New and existing buildings shall have approved address numbers, building <br /> numbers or approved building identification placed in a position that is plainly <br /> legible and visible from the street or road fronting the property.These numbers <br /> shall contrast with their background.Address numbers shall be provided in <br /> additional approved locations to facilitate emergency response.Address <br /> numbers shall be Arabic numbers or alphabetical letters.Numbers shall be a <br /> minimum of 4 inches(101.6 mm)high with a minimum stroke width of 0.5 inch <br /> (12.7 mm).Where access is by means of a private road and the building cannot <br /> be viewed from the public way,a monument,pole or other sign or means shall be <br /> used to identify the structure.Address numbers shall be maintained. Exception: <br /> Secured sites manned with on site,full-time 24 hour response teams who escort <br /> responding fire departments may omit address numbers,building numbers or <br /> building identification on individual buildings. <br /> Page 6 of 12 <br />
