The bill passed by a roll call vote of eight <br />ayes. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 7888 -88 SECOND READING ON A BILL APPROPRIATING $175,716.00 FROM <br />THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND TO PROJECT R &S 8802, <br />PAVING MATERIALS, WITHIN THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET <br />FUND. <br />This bill had third reading. Council Member Coleman made a motion to pass this <br />bill, seconded by Council Member Slavinskas. The bill passed by a roll call vote of <br />eight ayes. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 7889 -88 SECOND READING ON A BILL APPROPRIATING $350,000.00 FROM <br />THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND TO PROJECT R &S 8803, <br />VARIOUS ROAD IMPROVEMENTS, WITHIN THE LOCAL ROAD AND <br />STREET FUND. <br />This bill had third reading. The motion carried. <br />Council Member Slavinskas a motion to combine public hearing on resolutions 88 -44 <br />and 45, seconded by Council Member Puzzello. The motion MOTION carried. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1624 -88 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA, DESIGNATING CERTAIN AREAS WITHIN THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND COMMONLY KNOWN AS 1020 HIGH STREET <br />AN ECONOMIC REVITALIZATION AREA FOR PURPOSE OF A THREE <br />(3) YEAR REAL PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT FOR ART IRON, INC. <br />WHEREAS, a petition for real property tax abatement consideration has been filed <br />with the Common Council of the City of South Bend, requesting that the area commonly <br />know as 1020 High Street, South Bend, Indiana, and which is more particularly <br />described as follows: <br />Parcel 1 <br />(a) A part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 13, Township 37 North, Range 2 <br />East in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, described as follows, <br />viz: <br />Beginning at a point, in the center line of High Street, 159 feet South of the <br />point of intersection of the said center line of High Street in Martin L. Wenger's <br />Second Addition to the City of South Bend with the North line of said Section 13, <br />which said Section line is the former East and West center line of Sample Street in <br />said City, said beginning point being a stone set in the center of said High Street, <br />East of and in line with the center line East and West of the First Alley South of <br />
