,~, <br />~, .. <br />• a. continued... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Gammage, seconded by Mr. Wroblewski and <br />unanimously carried, the Authority approved the request for transfer of real <br />property to the City of South Bend for the use and benefit of its Department of <br />Redevelopment. (Toll Road Industrial Park -Precision Millwork and Plastics, <br />Inc.) <br />b. Authority approval requested for transfer of real property to the City of <br />South Bend for the use and benefit of its Department of Redevelopment <br />(Blackthorn Corporate Park - Nephrology, Inc.) <br />Mr. Riggs explained that the Redevelopment Commission has received a <br />proposal from Nephrology, Inc. to purchase a parcel of land in the Blackthorn <br />Corporate Park that the Redevelopment Authority owns. The transfer of land <br />from the Authority to the Commission is required so that it can be sold to <br />Nephrology, Inc. This will be Nephrology, Inc.'s fourth building and it will <br />create about 20 new jobs. They will close on the property and begin <br />construction of this week. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Wroblewski, seconded by Mr. Gammage and <br />unanimously carried, the Authority approved the request for transfer of real <br />• property to the City of South Bend for the use and benefit of its Department of <br />Redevelopment (Blackthorn Corporate Park - Nephrology, Inc.) <br />4. CLAIMS -There were no claims. <br />5. NEXT MEETING DATE: <br />The next meeting of the Redevelopment Authority is scheduled for Wednesday, <br />June 19, 1996 at 4:30 p.m. <br />6. ADJOLTItNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Redevelopment Authority, Mr. <br />Gammage made a motion that the meeting be adjourned.
