REGULAR MEETING FEBRUARY 26, 1990 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 8070 -90 AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED <br />PROPERTY: THE SECOND EAST -WEST ALLEY, NORTH OF <br />HILDRETH STREET, RUNNING EAST FROM ESTHER STREET, FOR <br />A DISTANCE OF APPROXIMATELY 120 FEET TO: THE WEST <br />LINE OF AN EXISTING 16 FOOT ALLEY IN THE RECORDED <br />PLATS OF BELLEVUE AND JOHN ADAMS FIRST ADDITION; ALSO <br />THE FIRST EAST -WEST ALLEY NORTH OF HILDRETH STREET, <br />RUNNING EAST FROM ESTHER STREET, FOR A DISTANCE OF <br />APPROXIMATELY 120 FEET TO THE WEST LINE OF AN <br />EXISTING 14' ALLEY IN THE RECORDED PLAT OF BELLEVUE; <br />ALSO THE FIRST NORTH -SOUTH ALLEY EAST OF ESTHER <br />STREET, RUNNING NORTH FROM HILDRETH STREET, FOR A <br />DISTANCE OF APPROXIMATELY 564 FEET TO THE SOUTH LINE <br />OF RUSKIN STREET, IN THE PLATS OF BELLEVUE AND JOHN <br />ADAMS FIRST ADDITION. <br />This bill had third reading. Council Member Coleman made a motion to pass this <br />bill, seconded by Council Member Niezgodski. The bill passed by a roll call vote <br />of eight ayes. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 8071 -90 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING TAX ANTICIPATION TIME <br />WARRANTS FOR 1990. <br />This bill had third reading. Council Member Coleman made a motion to pass this <br />bill, seconded by Council Member Duda. The bill passed by a roll call vote of <br />eight ayes. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 8072 -90 AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING MONIES WITHIN THE <br />CUMULATIVE CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT FUND OF THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA FOR THE YEAR 1990. <br />This bill had third reading. Council Member Coleman made a motion to amend this <br />bill, as amended in the Committee of the Whole, seconded by Council Member Luecke. <br />The motion carried. Council Member Luecke made a motion to pass this bill, <br />seconded by Council Member Coleman. The bill passed by a roll call vote of eight <br />ayes. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 8073 -90 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $343,600 TO VARIOUS <br />ACCOUNTS WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC <br />DEVELOPMENT. <br />This bill had third reading. Council Member Puzzello made a motion to pass this <br />bill, seconded by Council Member Coleman. The bill passed by a roll call vote of <br />eight ayes. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 8074 -90 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $150,000 FROM THE ECONOMIC <br />DEVELOPMENT STATE GRANT FUND TO BE ADMINISTERED BY <br />THE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br />This bill had third reading. Council Member Puzzello made a motion to pass this <br />bill, seconded by Council Member Coleman. The bill passed by a roll call vote of <br />eight ayes. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 8075 -90 AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $627,312 AMONG VARIOUS <br />ACCOUNTS WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC <br />DEVELOPMENT. <br />This bill had third reading. Council Member Luecke made a motion to amend this <br />bill, as amended in the Committee of the Whole, seconded by Council Member Coleman <br />. The motion carried. Council Member Luecke made a motion to pass this bill, <br />seconded by Council Member Coleman. The bill passed by a roll call vote of eight <br />ayes. <br />RESOLUTIONS <br />BILLS, FIRST READING <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR <br />Jon Hunt, Director Economic Development thanked the Council for their time and <br />efforts during the Community Development Block Grant Fund budget meetings. <br />There being no further business to come before the Council, unfinished or new, <br />Council Member Niezgodski made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Council Member <br />Coleman.
