ORDINANCE NO. 6 Q I, I - f</ AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $10,718.83 FROM VARIOUS ACCOUNTS TO VARIOUS ACCOUNTS WITHIN THE CITY CLERK'S BUDGET OF THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it'is now necessary to transfer money from various accounts in the annual budget. The City Clerk has ascertained that certain accounts in the Clerk's budget have excess funds and seeks a transfer in order to allow the Clerk's office to continue to fulfill its functions. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: SECTION I. That the following accounts be adjusted as described below: Reduce the following accounts: 110.0 Salaries and Wages $9,935.50 520.0 Rents 783.33 TOTAL REDUCTION $10,718.83 Increase the following accounts: 252.0 Equipment Repair 550.00 725.0 Office Equipment 10,168.83 TOTAL INCREASE $10,718.83 SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Council, approval by the Mayor.
