L q Z ] —e ] AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $466,000.00 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT, COM- MONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING FOR STREET MAINTENANCE AND RE- PAIR TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, THROUGH THE BUREAU OF STREETS WITHIN THE MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT In order to maintain a minimum level of street repair and paving for 1981, funds are now needed for street materials. These funds are available from the Federal Assis- tance Grant Fund. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: SECTION I. The sum of $466,000.00 is hereby appro- priated tor year 1981 from the Federal Assistance Grant, commonly referred to as General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. This appropriation is to be administered by the Bureau of Streets within the Motor Vehicle Highway Fund and will be dis- tributed as set forth below: PROGRAM FA 218 1981 STREET PAVING AND REPAIR PROGRAM ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION AMOUNT 420.0 Street Materials $466,000.00 SECTION II.
