ORDINANCE NO. hq;�s_xI <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $144,000.00 FROM THE <br />GENERAL FUND, FOR STREET MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR <br />TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA, THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Department <br />of Public Works to provide a minimum street paving and repair program <br />during 1981. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The sum of $144,000.00 is hereby appropriated <br />for the year 1981 from the General Fund.
