Bill No. Ordinance No. !a & t Q - g I AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $7,640.68 FROM THE LEEPER PARK TREE REPLACEMENT FUND #63.8210 FOR THE PURCHASE OF TREES AND SUPPLIES WHICH TREES WILL BE PLANTED AT LEEPER PARK. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: WHEREAS, the Department of Public Parks would like to replace the trees destroyed at Leeper Park by the July storms and WHEREAS, a committee was appointed to solicit funds that could be used to purchase trees to replace the trees that were destroyed by the July storms. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana as follows: Section I. The sum of $7,640.68 is hereby appropriated from the Leeper Park Tree Replacement Fund for the purchase of trees which trees will be planted at Leeper Park. This appropriation is to be administered by the Department of Public Parks as set forth below: Description Amount 441.0 Seeds, Trees & Flowers $7,640.68 Total $7,640.68 Section II.
