SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />April 4, 1995 1308 County-City Building <br />4:30 p. m. 227 W. Jefferson Boulevard <br />Presiding: Joseph Wroblewski South Bend, Indiana 46601 <br />President <br />The Apri14, 1995 Regular Meeting of the Redevelopment Authority was called to order at <br />4:37 p.m. by its President, Joseph Wroblewski. There was a quorum present. <br />1. ROLL CALL <br />Members Present: Mr. Joseph Wroblewski, President <br />Ms. Mary O. Ferlic, Secretary <br />Members Absent: Mr. Andre B. Gammage, Vice-President <br />Redevelopment Staff: Mrs. Ann Kolata, Director <br />Mrs. Cheryl Phipps, Recording Secretary <br />. 2. APPROVAL OF MINiJTES <br />a. Approval of Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Tuesday, March 21, 1995. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Ferlic, seconded by Mr. Gammage and unanimously <br />carried, the Authority approved the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of <br />1Liesday, March 21, 1995. <br />3. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Authority authorization requested to file Form 8038-T related to South <br />Bend Redevelopment Authority Lease Rental Revenue Bonds (Airport <br />Economic Development Area Public Improvement Project). <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that the terms of the 1hx Exempt Bonds required that the <br />funds be spent within two years of issuance and we did not meet this spending <br />schedule. The Internal Revenue Service requires that the Authority report <br />every six months what funds are left unspent and pay a penalty for the unspent <br />funds. The proceeds from these bonds are now all spent and we do not owe a <br />penalty, but need to file this form showing that all funds have now been spent. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Ferlic, seconded by Mr. Wroblewski and unanimously <br />carried, the Authority authorized filing of Form 8038 T related to South Bend <br />
