PARENT, Mayor <br />COUNTY -CITY BUILDING SOUTH BEND, INDIANA 46601 <br />December 3, 1980 <br />Common Council <br />County -City Building <br />Indiana 46601 <br />Dear Council Members: <br />219/284 -9742 <br />After the filing of the year end transfer ordinance for <br />first reading at your last Council meeting, the Economic <br />Development Commission made this office aware of its need <br />to transfer funds within their budget. <br />This transfer has been requested to cover costs that have <br />exceeded the budgeted amounts in instruction and printing. <br />The instruction and furniture and fixtures line items will <br />be left with zero balances, while the print line item will <br />have a balance of $128.60 after the transfer. <br />Because of the late filing of this bill I respectfully re- <br />quest that the Council suspend its rules at the December 8 <br />meeting in order to have both first and second readings. <br />Thank you very much for your cooperation. <br />Sincerely, <br />'7oseph E.
