Marvin, husband and wife, for themselves and their successors <br />and assigns and any and all successors in the interest of the below described real property, <br />(GRANTORS), convey and dedicate for use as public right-of-way, to the City of South Bend, Indiana, <br />(GRANTEE) for and in consideration of releasing the Judgment held by the City of South Bend <br />against William D. Marvin in the amount of TWELVE HUNDRED AND TEN AND 15/100 DOLLARS <br />($1,210.15) in the St. Joseph County Small Claims Court, Cause # 71D01-9503-SC-02666 and other <br />good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, certain <br />Real Property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana, more particularly described as: <br />Key Number 18-8154-5543. A parcel of land being a part of the Northwest Quarter of <br />Section 22, Township 37 North, Range 2 East, Portage Township, City of South Bend, St. <br />Joseph County, Indiana, and being more particularly described as follows: <br />Commencing at the Northwest corner of the said lot, being at a point on the existing East <br />right-of-way line of Locust Road, also being the point of beginning; thence South along <br />the right-of-way line for a distance of approximately 177.4 feet to the Southwest corner <br />of the lot; thence East 10 feet along the South lot fine; thence North a distance of <br />approximately 177.4 feet and parallel to the existing East right-of-way of Locust Road to <br />the North lot line; thence West 10 feet to the point of beginning, and containing <br />approximately .04 acres.
