ORDINANCE NO.-(, P6 g- Pb AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $6,823.59 FROM VARIOUS ACCOUNTS TO VARIOUS ACCOUNTS WITHIN THE CITY CLERK'S BUDGET OF THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to transfer money from various accounts to various accounts in the annual budget. The City Clerk has ascertained that certain accounts in the Clerk's budget have excess funds and seeks a transfer in order to allow the Clerk's office to continue to fulfill its functions. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: SECTION I: That the following accounts be reduced in the amount set opposite said accounts, to -wit: ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION AMOUNT 110.0 Salaries $6,031.32 361.0 Offical Records 100.00 363.0 Office Supplies 692.27 TOTAL $6,823.59 SECTION II: That the following accounts be increased in the amount set opposite said accounts, to -wit: ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION AMOUNT 230.0 Instruction $ 508.76 252.0 Equipment Repair 9.83 725.0 Office Equipment 6,075.00 520.0 Rents 230.00 TOTAL $6,823.59 SECTION III: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council of the City of South Bend and approval by the Mayor.
