South Bend Redevelopment Commission Regular Meeting —April 25, 2013 6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) G. Other (1) Resolution No. 3134 authorizing the Executive Director of the Department of Community Investment to approve and execute plats and conduct other administrative acts on behalf of the City of South Bend, Indiana, Department of Redevelopment. (2013 -2) Mr. Inks noted that this is something the Redevelopment Commission does at the beginning of the year. Currently, he (Mr. Inks) is authorized to sign on behalf of the Commission; however, since he is leaving city employment, it is necessary to change the person authorized to sign documents. Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by Mr. Alford and unanimously carried, the Commission approved Resolution No. 3134 authorizing the Executive Director of the Department of Community Investment to approve and execute plats and conduct other administrative acts on behalf of the City of South Bend, Indiana, Department of Redevelopment. (2013 -2) (2) Agreement for Services with the Civil City of South Bend for legal services related to redevelopment activities for 2013. Mr. Inks noted that this administrative agreement is ordinarily done at the beginning of the year. It seems to have been overlooked. The agreement is for the Commission to reimburse the city for Mr. Meteiver's time. It is a means of transferring some of the TIF funds back to the city's General Fund. Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by Ms. Schey and unanimously carried, the Commission approved the Agreement for Services with the Civil City of South Bend for legal services related to redevelopment activities for 2013. (3) Resolution No. 3137 commending Donald E. Inks for extraordinary services to the South Bend Redevelopment Commission.
