ST. <br />JOSEPH STATION <br />President Maradik stated an application for an encroachment and revocable permit has been <br />received from Bradley Co. St. Joseph Station for the purpose of allowing a bladed mounted sign <br />to be placed in the right-of-way at 300 N. Michigan St. The encroachment shall remain in the right <br />of way until the time as the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend shall determine that <br />such encroachment is in any way impairing or interfering with the highway or with the free and <br />same flow of traffic. Upon a motion made by VP Molnar, seconded by Mr. Miller and carried by <br />roll call, the encroachment and revocable permit was approved. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF REVOCABLE PERMIT FOR ENCROACHMENT – SOUTH BEND <br />PD/FLOCK GROUP INC.DBA FLOCK SAFETY <br />President Maradik stated an application for an encroachment and revocable permit has been <br />received from the SBPD and Flock Group DBA Flock Safety for the purpose of allowing Four (4) <br />Solar Powered License Plate Reader Cameras to be placed in the right-of-way at McKinley Ave. <br />& Hickory Rd, Freemont Park, Diamond Ave. & Portage Ave., and Portage Ave. & Angela Blvd. <br />It was noted that permission from AEP will need to be obtained related to the Fremont Park pole. <br />The encroachment shall remain in the right of way until the time as the Board of Public Works of <br />the City of South Bend shall determine that such encroachment is in any way impairing or <br />interfering with the highway or with the free and same flow of traffic. Upon a motion made by VP <br />Molnar, seconded by Mr. Miller and carried by roll call, the encroachment and revocable permit <br />was approved. <br /> <br />UNFAVORABLE RECOMMENDATION - PETITION TO VACATE THE NORTH/SOUTH <br />ALLEY BETWEEN 1413 & 1411 W. WESTERN AVE. <br />President Maradik indicated that Charles Boros, has submitted a request to vacate the above <br />referenced alley. Ms. Maradik advised the Board is in receipt of unfavorable recommendations <br />concerning this vacation petition from the Public Works Department, Fire Department, Police
