ORDINANCE NO. %ion -Ft AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $43,445.00 TO THE BUREAU OF SEWERS BUDGET LINE ITEM 260 CONTRACTUAL SERVICES FROM THE SEWAGE WORKS DEPRECIATION FUND FOR EMERGENCY SEWER REPAIRS ON SAMPLE STREET AT THE RAIL ROAD CROSS- ING EAST TO THE FIRE STATION. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: Due to a cave in on Sample Street in front of the Municipal Services Building emergency repairs had to be made on Sample Street at the rail road crossing east to the Fire Station. Monies are now needed to fund said emergency repairs, as declared by the Board of Wastewater Commissioners, which were performed by H. DeWulf Mechanical Contractors, Inc. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The sum of $43,445.00 is hereby appropriated from the Sewage Works Depreciation Fund to the Bureau of Sewers line item 260 Contractual Services in order to pay for the repairs on Sample Street at the rail road crossing east to the Fire Station. SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor.
