c M TA
■
A L_G_r1[_ Compan}
October 29, 2024
Breckinridge County Schools
86 Airport Road
Hardinsburg, KY 40143
Attn: Dr. Nick Carter, Superintendent
Re: Year 4 Annual Reconciliation Report
Dr. Carter,
Quality • Transparency • Results
CMTA Energy Solutions is pleased to provide you with the attached report showing how the
completed Guaranteed Energy Savings Contract for Breckinridge County Schools has performed
over the past 12 months. The Year 4 period is defined as September 2023 through August 2024.
All energy savings reported in the attached document reflect this 12-month timeframe.
The Year 4 measurement and verification revealed that the actual monetary savings of the district
exceeded the guaranteed savings per the Savings Summary featured in Exhibit E of the
Guaranteed Energy Savings Contract. This was executed between CMTA and Breckinridge County
Schools on March 16, 2020. The excess electrical, fuel, and water savings added up to a total
monetary savings that exceeded the Year 4 guarantee by +19%. Breckinridge County Schools
saved a total of $337.256, resulting in excess savings of $52,669 above the Year 4 savings
guarantee of $284,587.
We appreciated the opportunity to work with Breckinridge County Schools on this project.
Through this project, CMTA was able to improve the learning environments of schools across the
district while substantially reducing operational costs and setting up these facilities for a
sustainable future. The following report shows real, meter -read data that is compared to our
guarantee and the baseline provided for each individual school. CMTA is excited to report that
Breckinridge County Schools continues to be of the most energy efficient school districts in all of
Kentucky. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Andrew Survant, PE
CMTA Energy Solutions
9519 Civic Way I Prospect, KY 40059 1 502.409.4062 1 cmta.com
MEP Engineering I Performance Contracting I Zero Energy Engineering I Technology I Commissioning
