In his career he has served as a field <br />service technician, mechanical project manager, and HVAC/R <br />instructor. <br />He obtained his Journeyman License in 1995 and his Masters <br />License in 2005. As a field service technician he has serviced, <br />maintained and repaired all levels of HVAC systems including <br />AHU, Chillers, Boilers, and DDC (direct digital control) systems. <br />In 2003 he made the transition from the service industry to <br />project management. It was during this time he acquired <br />additional licensing - Kentucky electrical contractor and <br />Master electrician, Kentucky State Boiler License, Ohio HVAC <br />Masters, and HVAC Master for several cities in Indiana. <br />In 2010, Mr. Owen had the opportunity to become an <br />HVAC instructor for Sullivan College of Technology and <br />Design. Courses taught included energy auditing, building <br />automation, and basic electricity. <br />Mr. Owen joined with CMTA Energy Solutions in 2018 and is <br />using his expertise as a Construction Manager for the team. <br />
