ORDINANCE NO. 7099 -82 <br />AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE MAXIMUM <br />SALARY FOR THE CITY ATTORNEY IN <br />THE DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />Since the City Attorney has assumed the responsibility <br />of being the attorney for the Department of Redevelopment under <br />Home Rule Statute, additional compensation is being requested <br />for the additional work performed. <br />Monies have been appropriated and are available within <br />the Department of Redevelopment of the City of South Bend. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br />SECTION I. <br />appointed offer of <br />follows: <br />POSITION <br />The maximum annual salary for the following <br />the City of South Bend be no more than as <br />Department of Redevelopment <br />City Attorney <br />PRESENT SALARY /WAGES <br />PROPOSED SALARY /WAGES <br />$3,000 <br />SECTION II. In addition to the preceding amount, the City <br />Attorney is alsunded from the Legal Department as the City Attorney <br />for $30,398, Water Works as Utility Commissioner for $2,920 and <br />Waste Water as Utility Commissioner for $2,920 for a total annual <br />salary of $39,238. <br />SECTION III.
