BILL NO. ORDINANCE NO. 74 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $30,000.00 FROM THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUND TO CONTRACT WITH PROJECT FUTURE TO PROVIDE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE IN CONNECTION WITH CERTAIN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES IN THE INNER - CORE AREA OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: The government of the City of South Bend, Indiana, in creative and affirmative partnership with its residents., private enterprise and the Federal Government, is committed to the goal of expanding economic opportunities for all its residents. To further this goal, the City of South Bend, through its Division of Community Development, funds a variety of economic development activities. The technical assistance provided by Project Future will enable the City of South Bend to pursue those economic development activities in a more efficient and effective manner. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: SECTION I. The sum of $30,000 is hereby appropriated for the program year July 7, 1982 (Program Year 1982). This appropriation is to be administered by the Division of Community Development, as set forth below: PROGRAM CD 82 -1006 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM Purpose Project Future Amount $30,000.00 SECTION II.
