INITIATED #795 -82 <br />Ironwood and Inwood Roads, South Bend <br />REQUESTED ACTION: This petition is <br />Residential, "B" <br />that has recentl <br />of South Bend. <br />EXISTING LAND USE: <br />SURROUNDING LAND USE AND ZONING: <br />ACCESS: <br />July 12, 1982 <br />initiated to zone to "B" <br />Height and Area, property <br />V been annexed to the City <br />The property contains a portion of the St. Paul's <br />Retirement Center, and also contains a City re- <br />tention basin. <br />Located to the north is the remainder of <br />St. Paul's Retirement Center, zoned "B" <br />Residential, "B" Height and Area; located to <br />the east is vacant land zoned "R" Residential; <br />located to the south is vacant land zoned "R" <br />Residential and the Irish Hills Apartments zoned <br />"B" Residential, "A" Height and Area; and to the <br />west are single family homes zoned "A" Residential, <br />"A" Height and Area. <br />Access to the site is from Ironwood and Inwood <br />Roads. <br />DATA: The total site is 29.67 acres. <br />STAFF COMMENTS: The property to the north of this site was <br />rezoned to "B" Residential in September of <br />1978 for a retirement center which would also <br />include this site. A final site plan was approved <br />for the total area with an agreement that upon <br />completion of the retirement center, the southern <br />portion of the site would be annexed. <br />
