ORDINANCE NO. by9\ -$ I <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $1,050,000 FROM THE <br />FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS <br />GENERAL REVENUE SHARING FOR 1981 SALARY AND FRINGE <br />BENEFIT INCREASES TO BE ADMINISTERED THROUGH THE <br />DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />Whereas, the 1981 budget as approved did not include salary <br />and fringe benefit increases which were granted January 1, 1981. Funds are <br />now needed in the personnel accounts. Funds are now available in the <br />General Revenue Sharing Fund. <br />SECTION I. The sum of $1,050,000.00 is hereby appropriated <br />for the year 1981 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund commonly known as <br />the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund.
